Didn’t we just kill at least 2 Al-Quade leaders in Iraq? What about Al-sar Warhiri (sp) about a year ago?

We are killing thousands of them. They are spending alot of time and money in Iraq fighting out troops there.

Could this be a giant ’salt lick’ for them…a magnet for them to fight their war so they don’t have the time/resources to attack us on our native soil?

Left to their own devices prior to 9/11 it took them 7 years after the first World Trade Center bombing to do 9/11.

Basically what I’m suggesting is if we don’t fight them THERE they will fight us HERE.

Do you think they will not follow us home? Do you think our defences (airport/cargo screening, border patrol, visa background checks, terror watch lists, student exchange program watch lists, the Patriot Act - or whats left of it), are enough to stop another 9/11 if we are not fighting them in Iraq?

If we pull out of Iraq what would happen? Why should do we care?

Assuming that we pull out will Al Quada get a foothold on the country. Will they fester and use the money from oil revenues to fund new attacks against us and our allies?

Last year a plot to down 10 airliners destended for the United States - killing upwards of 4,000 people was foiled. Could our ‘defense’ be good enough to stop all their attacks?

Will Iran annex 1/3rd of Iraq? Will the price of oil goto $120/barrel and cause a world-wide recession?

Will Iran get the nuke and kill 90,000 Israelies before the world ‘acts’?

Will Iran give nuclear technology to Al-Quada to attack U.S. interests?

Will the 30,000 Hesbolla troops inside the United States attack our malls and schools en masse killing 100,000 Americans?

Are we perpetuating their cause? Should we be friendly with them and they will eventually become more moderate?

Just some of the questions that still need to be answered.

Looks like we should had gone in with 400,00 troops instead of this half-assed approach we are doing now. I really feel bad for all the troops doing their 3rd or 4th tours. My father went to the Iraq 1.0 War and I missed him alot - it really puts alot of strain on the families let alone the possible death of your relative.

Why haven’t the Iraqi’s stepped up? We can train an 18 year old to be a police officer or Marine in 6 months, yet we are still training them? They are not stupid.

I wonder how many Democrats don’t care they are ‘playing into the hands’ of the terrorists? Now don’t get me wrong even I have a limit to this war - I just wished we went in strong and finished it in 2 years instead of what we have now.

The concequences are tremendous if we leave - another Camodian Killing fields, killing 3,000,000, will occur again. Iran will annex 1/3rd of Iraq. Oil will goto $120 a barrel.

I actually hope Iran gets a nuke so we can nuke them back with the World’s backing. Problem is that until something like that the World will sit on its hands and watch from a distance all the while the Iraqis are stuck between a rock and a harder and bigger rock.
