Picture Documentary: US Troops Caught Torturing Iraqi Kids

July 29th, 2007 by Mr. Juice
    Hello Stupid!

    By: Major League Infidel
The media had a field day with Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo. However, they missed the boat and the pictures below tell a much deeper story of abuse by our troops in Iraq.

United States Troops with Iraqi Children Armed American troops force Iraqis to seesaw until they talk

United States Troops with Iraqi Children Iraqi child bites soldier in self defense after obvious torture
United States Troops with Iraqi Children Soldier falls asleep on duty while using Iraqi child as body armor
United States Troops with Iraqi Children GI overheard to say “Talk or I’ll tickle you till you pee!”
More evidence of failed US intelligence
United States Troops with Iraqi Children Soldier attempts to eat Iraqi child
United States Troops with Iraqi Children Clear evidence of forced labor by troops
United States Troops with Iraqi Children Iraqis grateful that American forces did not open fire during soccer game
United States Troops with Iraqi Children Soldier caught at “tickle-torture” to extract intelligence
United States Troops with Iraqi Children GI forces Iraqi child to hang by fingertips
United States Troops with Iraqi Children Unfortunately, there’s nothing funny about this one.

Stay Safe. Your fight there is helping keep us safe here.

      Awesome! I love it!

    2. Valerie Hooker Says:

Thank you so much for these. Its very hard to find positive images to much is focused on the negative and not enough on what should be important, supporting the troops.

    3. JGP Says:

Are any of these photos copyrighted?
      Thanks.
I would like to use one of them as a cover to an anthology.

    4. Mr. Stupid Says:

I have no idea. I found these on a forum post on bf2s.com.

    5. nornerator Says:

      Foolishness really.

We have slaughtered 1 million Iraqi’s and you post a few pictures of soldiers getting along with them with sarcastic remarks mocking those critical of this mass murder.

Our troops joined the military voluntarily. They volunteered to kill for money. They are no better than “terrorists” or the mafia. Sure in their hearts they may have joined in order to fight for freedom. But just as the terrorists believe they are freedom fighters we are just as bad.

Governments have used the military almost always for a political purpose, not for “defense.” Anyone who has read a history book knows this.

    6. Kate Says:

The thing is that while these pictures are nice, they are not enough “good news” to justify what was done in Iraq. They do not erase the suffering of our troops or that of the Iraqi people.
Sometimes it seems that not many people remember that we went to war with Iraq due to either misinformation or bad intelligence. We went to find weapons of mass destruction. We were told the war would be quick and easy, liberate the people, accept some flowers, leave. We were told it wouldn’t be that expensive. All of this turned out to be horribly wrong.
Many times the question is not is something good or bad news? The question is how good or bad is the news in relation to what came before. After lies, mistakes of a criminal magnitude, and so many lives lost, pictures of soldiers playing with children is good news… but not good enough.

    7. Dick Says:

I hate when people talk about how there’s “not enough positive images” coming out of this war.

Since when were genocide, torture, brutality, and murder “positive experiences”?

    8. tim Says:

I have spent four years in Iraq and Afghanistan and will be going on another one next year. And if you believe we murdered millions or people you are wrong, and need to stop watching the news. The news never covers all the clinics we open, schools we repair, micro grant we give out to help people start businesses and all the other things we do to help. I am an Infantry man and I have seen good and bad and I have seen more Iraqis die by the hands of their own people than I have seen killed by Coalition Forces.

    9. Patriotic american Says:

out of war comes the most horrible and most beutiful of human emotions. like all things there is a yin and yang, the good and the bad, but to say our soldiers are willingly slaughtering millions of people is ignorant and cowerdly. who are you or me or any of us who have not been there to judge the actions of the men and women who get shot at, mortored, bombed, rocketed and gased each day? these pictures up lifted my heart and i feel sorry for you that it didn’t do the same for the cold, black lifless mass in your chest.

    10. Minute Man Says:

I voluntarily joined the military to provide the opportunity for those both for and against the Iraq war to be able to voice their opinion. Without fear of reprisals! Although we don’t have all the facts of why we went to war in Iraq, I am sworn to protect this great nation. I suggest that those detractors should support their country.

    11. Jake Says:

Jesus christ you liberal pussies! Does anyone take into account that dictators in these countries are killing their own people, women in afghanistan are killed by their own family for talking to U.S. troops, because it makes them unpure! These pictures are showing the good things we have done, the hope for a few children and you have to bash them. Enough with the America hating. If you are so fed up with us, your own country, why don’t you immigrate your happy ass over to Iraq or Afghanistan, because hey, life must be better over there, and their government couldn’t be any worse than ours. Right? Why the silence?

    12. Jake Says:

Thank you troops. And Dick, don’t be a dick.

    13. Willy Says:

Supporting troops doesn’t get ratings. The media is fawked in the head.

    14. Klorenz Says:

I hope these pictures aren’t being used for political reasons because these pictures don’t speak to those motives anyway. Nor do these pictures say much about troops. What these pictures do reveal is the humanity and potential for good of people. It is important to scrutinize the negative things that have occurred in Iraq as well as the positive. I hold that obligation to myself and no one else. I am responsible for myself. Again, this isn’t about supporting left or right, or about motives. This website ruins these photos with dry captions and the negative comments are also unnecessary. The pictures should stand alone. I

In the interest of full disclosure, I am a liberal, but I’m glad for these pictures. I have friends who’ve served (even if I didn’t agree) and also family that has served in other wars. I never doubted that there are positive moments in Iraq and Afghanistan.

    15. Rob Says:

Enough with the conservative bullshit semantics and name calling. I really don’t think it takes a liberal to realize they were lied to. Approval for going to Iraq didn’t come until WMD’s came into the picture. The supposed WMD’s was a perfect example of deliberate misinformation. It wasn’t because of a dicator, it was because of the presence of oil. Now before anyone says something ridiculous like “If we went there for oil, why is Gas so high.”, let me please point out that going for oil doesn’t mean reducing the price of oil by increasing production/supply. But rather, it is to have control of that market and to effect price change to make PROFIT for big business. If we didn’t go for oil, why are you not “liberating” places like Swaziland, and Somalia, or better yet, North Korea?

Now, before i say too much, I need to point out that I feel very sorry for the soldiers, most of which signed up to defend a country and to “be all they can be.” etc. However, there is an element of personal accountability. If you sign a contract that essentially gives up you right to do anything but shut up and do as your told, I can’t have much sympathy. There a quote by Benjamin Franklin, “The man who trades freedom for security does not deserve nor will he ever receive either.”

Unfortunately rampant nationalism is evident on both sides of this war on terror. And much like in Nazi Germany, Fascism takes root when people can’t speak about what is wrong, because they are classified as traitors.

As far as the pictures…makes me feel very sorry for those boys/men/soldiers who bought into the lie about how being a trained fighting machine and giving up the right to think for yourself is the most honorable thing to do. A little ironic as well.

    16. mooner-one Says:

I’m a veteran of the ‘Nam and this hand full of pics brings back memories of our war. Our men and women in uniform are human beings that were bought lock, stock and barrel by a government that is corrupt, out of touch with reality, power mad and very disturbed. It’s been said … “Governments make wars, not the people.” I fully believe that. We are on the brink of a total police state here. It is planned and in motion as we write. The problems we face today are part of that plan. De-stabalisation is what is happening and the politicians caused it for a reason. To control every aspect of your life, cradle to grave.

    17. Rob Says:

      I agree with you mooner.

But what really needs to be discussed is “What will we do.”

    18. Phil E. Drifter Says:

I think Kate at October 8th, 2008 at 11:17 am said it best. i bet she’s hot too.

This is an illegal war. It’s nice to see a few troops enjoying time with ‘potential insurgents’ or ‘terrorists,’ but there’s nothing funny about this war; it’s an illegal war perpetrated by the Bush cabinet based on intentionally false intelligence that was cooked up so he could (unconstitutionally) ‘pre-emptively’ invade a country that had nothing to do with 9/11.

He did so under the assurance of the world body, knowing he could get away with invading a foreign country and having it’s president executed.

NOW we CAN’T pull out because if we did, you know Iran (whom Iraq was at war with in the 80s when REAGAN SOLD saddam MWDs (namely, chemical/biological weapons, which were found by the IAEA and dismissed because they were unusable (rust/time). (This is what Santorum clung to before he was voted out of office.)

All I know is, if some foreign country invaded the USA, you can bet your ass I’d be out there fighting them.

I submitted this post to reddit, sorry if it caused any problems :(

    21. USMCGuy Says:

Serving in the military in a free republic is a choice to be honored.

That said, You anti-war individuals didn’t impeach Bush, no, you let him and his cabinet do as he pleased, and probably all you did against it was post on the Internet.

You’re nothing but lazy irresponsible ignorant children, probably never having been to a second or third world country and seeing life as they live it as opposed to life in the United States.

You have no say in anything that you don’t take an active role in participating in. As a citizen it’s your responsibility to stand up for what you believe in, not to whine about it on the Internet.

Yes, Bush had no real reason for going into Iraq but to line his pockets, and the military and their people paid the price, but some good may yet come of it. Having been to Iraq already and about to go again, I would say it was less the “surge” and more the Iraqi leaders taking responsibility for themselves.

And cheers to them for doing so, it’s just sad that so many of you rail against our warriors abroad, but have neither the courage nor fortitude to stand up to your leaders who you believe were wrong. As I said, you are spoiled ignorant children who value your country little, because you got it for free.

    22. ashley parada Says:

I support the troops that refuse to fight. So what if a couple of soldiers posed for a photo opp. Show me the pictures of the raped women, the men who are missing arms and legs and the orphaned children. That is what war truly is.

    23. Hrudu Says:

Don’t let the pictures fool you!
Over a million Iraqis are killed by now by those ‘heroes’ in uniforms!!!

      Obama, any CHANGES???

    24. kris Says:

No Offence hrudu, but, most soldiers sign up to defend their country. Not to go out into iraq and kill inocent people. and obama doesnt get actual control of the country until january. sorry if i’ve offended anyone but thats just my view

    25. cynders Says:

      Brilliant ,love the pics.
I’m a UK resident and all I can say is now that Bush & Blair are history ,please get our troops home asap.

    26. jd Says:

You know, its sad, as a veteran I agree that a lot of people just gripe about ‘how bad the country’ is, and accuse those who serve their country in a non-partisan role of evil. You want pictures of people without limbs - visit WRAMC, TAMC, BAMC, WAMC. Those are the abbreviated names for the hospitals most veterans wounded in combat are located. How dare some of you make accusations and judgments on service members who were sent overseas and put in situations you couldn’t even begin to imagine. USMCguy couldn’t have been more right about how a majority of people refuse to stand up for what they think is right when they can just post it on an internet board. War is hell, how dare some of you judge those who must survive it - all from your comfortable pedestal that is preserved by their very sacrifice.

All that aside, these images bring back something positive from something so negative. It shows that in an environment that is as close to hell on earth as possible at least children, innocent to the ways of politics, can have a small break. Thanks to those ‘murderers’ some of the little girls in those pictures will get to go to school, have careers, and live to see 16 - something most of you seem to take for granted because you think you are entitled to it.

    27. hrudu Says:

No offence … but deep in your heart you know the pictures have nothing to do with the reality in Iraq and the war in Iraq has nothing to do with defending any countries.

No offence … but can you imagine the situations of the Iraqi people were put in by ‘the service members’?

Do you have abbreviations for hospitals for millions wounded Iraqi people too?

    28. Dave Says:

      Kris,

Don’t apologize for offensive comments which are true. Some retards, I’m not naming names, could use a little bit of truth in their empty noggins… hrudu.

There were many positive and emotional situations in Iraq’s war, those missed because of the journalists had looked for hot news and focused on negatives.

    33. FDSAFASD Says:

I think that as far as American people being terrorists goes, I think that war is a simple “Battle of the Fittest” as far ideology goes. Any war could be considered as terrorism to either side. It just depends on which perspective you want to take. Because as we all know… “Perspective” is everything.

    34. evanism Says:

you forgot to put up the pictures of the kids that are blown apart or have their heads blown off by American machineguns and rockets.

    35. Steve Says:

Those are some cute photos taken for the press. And this country, having never been occupied, has such an imaginary idea of what war is like that these pictures may fool people. But make no mistake, anyone who has seen this happen to their country will tell you the same thing: war is not kids on swing sets. That’s what happens in spite of war. War is tripping over dead bodies in the streets, making your way home to find that it’s been leveled by a rocket since you’d left. War is being coerced, subjugated, and humiliated by someone that doesn’t understand you and doesn’t want to. War is an exercise of the most selfish and hateful parts of us as people.
